Douglas Burke, Jr., age 67, of Sitka, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 at his home.

Douglas was born March 23, 1957, in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Douglas Burke and Leatta VanHoose Burke.

He is survived by his fiancé, Rose Wagoner, three daughters, Christy Lynn Reffett, Shirley Seagraves, Melissa Wagoner; one son, Glendale Wagoner; three brothers, Checkie Burke, Matthew Burke, Dave Burke; four sisters, Juanita Dorton, Hazel Fairchild, Rose Napier, and Martha Difrancisco; twelve grandchildren, Shirchrista Salyer (Josh), Venus Antrim (Brad), Tylor Wagoner, Tracie Gamble (Wesley Rowland), Kiara Gamble (Mick Newsom), David Reffett, Jr. (Kalee), Dakota Wagoner (Jessica Eldridge), Gary Johnson (Heaven), Mary Johnson, Bryanna Seagraves, Becky Carter (Brandon), and Anthony Wagoner; twelve great grandchildren, Daytona, Conway, Carter, Abel, Ella, Paisleigh, Aurora, Esmee, Wilder, Damon, Blayd, Rayden, Brittley, Braylee, Bryson, Brianna, Daylia, Marisa, and Nevaeh; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Family Cemetery at Sitka.
