Edith J. Spencer Blevins, age 82, of East Point, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia.

Edith was born February 8, 1944 in Floyd County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Bruce and Dessie May Spencer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bryan Blevins and one brother, Clifford Spencer.

She is survived by one daughter, Lisa (JD) England of East Point, Kentucky; one son, Nathaniel (Sherry)Blevins of Huntington, West Virginia;  three grandchildren, Jackson England, Ryan Blevins, and Charlotte Blevins; and one sister, Fredia Goble of East Point, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2026 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Tex Sawyer officiating. Burial will follow at Spencer-Blevins Cemetery, East Point, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, April, 15, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
