Edna Eugenia "Gena" Peoples Trusty, age 65, of Meally, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Highlands ARH.

Gena was born July 30, 1958 in Gainesville, Georgia, daughter of the late Evelyn Effie Slaton Henson. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Trusty and one son, James Burl "Biggen" Cole.

She is survived by two sons, Cody Cole of Salyersville, Kentucky, Nicholas Nicholas of Spring, Texas; two daughters, Stalena Pittman of Gainesville, Georgia and Stacey Spencer; two sisters, Patricia and Carolyn; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Per her request, there will be no services at this time and a memorial service at a later time.
