Effie Elizabeth Craft Picklesimer Price, age 79, of Thelma, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024  at King's Daughters Medical Center.

Effie was born November 01, 1944 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Toby E. Craft and Pansy Oliva Craft. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Everett Dwight; one daughter, Michelle Rae Picklesimer; two step-sons, Greg Picklesimer and David Picklesimer; one brother, Toby Craft; one grandson, Jacob Kirsch.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence Price; four daughters, Sheila (Dickie) Crum of Staffordsville, Kentucky, Shawn Picklesimer of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Elizabeth (Naren Kumar) Blair of Thelma, Kentucky and Brenda (Joe) Quartarone of Jasper, Georgia; one sister, Dimple Rose Reed of Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Madison (Stephanie) Kirsch, Corey (Cassandra) Helmandollar, Nathaniel Narendrakumar, Cassandra (Scott) Stratton, Tyler (Morgan) Crum, Zoee Crum and Jon-Erik (Nikita) Blair; Eight great grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 .m. Thursday, February 1, 2024 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with  burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
