Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Kinner, age 90, of Thealka, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Mt. Manor of Paintsville.

Betty was born November 11, 1933, in Johnson County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Everett Castle and Dorothy Preston Castle. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Kinner, one brother, Bob Ray Castle, two sisters, Eloise Dials and Imogene Castle Copley and one great grandson, Linkon Blanton Jude.

She is survived by one son, David (Teresa) Kinner of Thealka, Kentucky; one daughter, Kim (Brian) Blanton of Thealka, Kentucky; one brother, James Michael (Vicki) Castle of Thealka, Kentucky; one sister, Brenda (Bobby) Owens of Moultrie, Georgia; one sister-in-law, Tooter Castle, Thealka three grandchildren, Dewayne (Summer) Kinner, Zachary (Paula) Blanton and Kayla (Jason) Jude; and three great grandchildren, Addison Kinner, Deacon Kinner and Emmaline Jude.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2024 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Gary Blair, Ronnie Spriggs and Larry Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2024 and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2024.
