Visitation: 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2023 and 9:00 a.m. until 8:.00 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2023 and  9:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:.00 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Sitka Free Will Baptist Church.

Burial: Whippoorwill Cemetery, Thealka, Kentucky

Elizabeth "Libby" Castle, age 67, of Wittensville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023 at her home.

Elizabeth was born May 19, 1956 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Frank and Pina Scarberry Castle.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by four sisters, Debra Sue Caudill, Wilma Faye Castle, Edna Mae Arms, and Juanita Copas.

She is survived by two sisters, Margaret Salyers of Thealka, Kentucky, and Betty (Kenny) Stambaugh of Stambaugh, Kentucky; three brothers, Frank (Dottie) Castle of Lowmansville, Kentucky, Terry (Shirley) Castle of Sitka, Kentucky, and Joe Edward (Alyson) Castle of Moultree, Georgia; special niece, Nancy Bush (Mont) of Wittensville, Kentucky; Two brother-in-laws, James Arms and Gary Castle.  She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Sitka Free Will Baptist Church  with Jim McKenzie and Hobert Meek officiating. Burial will follow at Whippoorwill Cemetery, Thealka, Kentucky. Friends may visit Sitka Free Will Baptist Church, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday July 26, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2023.
