Elizabeth K. Rusk Cumpston, age 74, of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Kentucky.

Elizabeth was born September 30, 1946 in Arlington, Virginia, daughter of the late James and Jewell McDonnie Rusk.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert Cumpston and one brother, Michael Rusk.

She is survived by one son, Michael (Joyce) Cumpston of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; two daughters, Dawn Cumpston and Dawna (Micah) Lauhon all of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; two brothers, Danny Rusk of Ironton, Ohio and Sandy (Paulette) Rusk of Ironton, Ohio; three sisters, Jewell (Bill) Jenkins of Franklin Furnace, Ohio and Jan Rusk of Crown City, Ohio; Bob (Melissa) Ranck of Huntington Beach, California; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Elizabeth was the former owner of Catlettsburg Giovanni's.

Graveside service will be conducted 12:00 Noon Monday, November 9, 2020 at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens with Ronnie Spriggs officiating. Friends are Family are welcome to gather after 11:30 a.m. at the Mausoleum at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.

The family is accepting flowers and may be delivered to the cemetery or lieu of flowers, memorial donation are requested Breast Cancer Society by contacting Jones-Preston Funeral Home at 606-789-3501.
