Elva Arms, age 82, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.

Elva was born February 8, 1938 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Elijah "Cough" Arms and Martha "Dolly" Collins Arms. He is preceded in death by both of his parents.

He is survived by one brother, James G. Arms of Colorado and two sisters, Josephine Arms of Tutor Key, KY and Betty Salyer of Paintsville

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Southside Freewill Baptist Church with Wayne Price officiating. Burial will follow at Arms Cemetery, Bear Hollow, East Point, Kentucky. Friends may visit Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2020.
