Emery Blevins, age 72, of West Van Lear, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 at King's Daughter Medical Center.

Emery was born March 17, 1949 in Johnson, Kentucky, son of the late Walter "Curly" and Elva Cora Goble Blevins. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother,  Sammy Blevins.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Yvonne Spears Blevins; three daughters, Emily Marcum (Kevin) of Albany, KY, Yvonne Perry (James) of West Van Lear, KY, Jessica Click (Chris) of Hager Hill, KY; two brothers, William M. Blevins and Nero Blevins both of West Van Lear, KY; four sisters, Louella Kestner of Hager Hill, KY, Norma Kestner of West Van Lear, KY, Joyce Kestner of Hager Hill, KY, Amelia Godfrey of Paintsville, Ky; one sister-in-law Evelyn Blevins of Van Lear, KY; two grandsons  Brennan Jay Marcum (Katie) of Ft Campbell, KY and Corey Wyatt Marcum of Albany, KY and three bonus-grandsons Ethan Perry and Tylan Perry both of Louisa, KY and Grayson Perry of Pike County, KY .

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Tobe Wheeler and Doug Kestner officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, KY.   Friends may call at Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until of service at 2:00 p.m.
