Emily Rose Caudill, age 84, of Green Valley Road, Staffordsville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 19th, 2026 at Pikeville Medical Center.

Emily was born January 20th, 1942 in Lawrence County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ray Jennings Caudill and Irene Wheeler Caudill. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edison Caudill.

Emily is survived by four children, daughter, Kimberly Caudill of Staffordsville, Kentucky, sons, Jack Edward Caudill and David Alan Caudill both of Staffordsville, Kentucky, and Jay Corey Caudill of Troy, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one half-brother, Dan Thompson of Michigan; and one half-sister, Carol Thompson of Michigan.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 22nd, 2026 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Family Cemetery, on Green Valley Road at Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 21st, 2026 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 22nd, 2026.
