Emma Clida Hensley Bright, age 80, of Louisa, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at her home.

Emma was born July 2, 1940 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late David Young Hensley and Bonnie Belle Manns Hensley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wayne Bright, one daughter, Tina Louise Haney Miller, two brothers, Ray Hensley and James Hensley, and three sisters, Sue Fitzwater, Barbara Fairchild, and Loretta McKenzie.

She is survived by five daughters, Nickie Lynn Wells and husband Ronnie of Staffordsville, Kentucky, Bonita Cook and husband Ronnie of Van Lear, Kentucky, Christine C. Leedy and husband Will of West Van Lear, Kentucky, Lisa W. Rose and husband Floyd of Louisa, Kentucky, and Dovanda Mills and husband Jimmy of Tutor Key, Kentucky; one brother, Darrell Hensley of Paintsville, Kentucky; three sisters, Norma Honeycutt of Paintsville, Kentucky, Margaret Clouse of Hager Hill, Kentucky, and Evelene Curtis of Flat Gap, Kentucky; fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Ray Pennington officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021, 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2021 and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2021.
