Erick Charles, age 33, of Thelma, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at his home. Erick was born June 20, 1987, to David Zeek and Neva Lee Hickman Zeek. He was preceded in death by his father David Zeek; one nephew Kaden Charles.

He survived by his mother, Neva Lee Zeek of Inez, KY; one son Logan Charles of Raleigh, NC; one daughter Kendal Charles of Grand Prairie, TX; two brothers Brian (Mary Ann) Charles of Thelma, KY and John David (Elizabeth) Zeek of Inez, KY; several nieces and nephews Ashley (Todd) Lewis, Makinley Cantrell, Whitley Cantrell, Brodie Charles, Davie Zeek and Ivan Zeek.

Graveside services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Tuesday at the Charles Family Cemetery, Thelma, KY with Ronnie Spriggs officiating. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at which time Auxier Chapter 18 DAV will conduct military honors.
