Evalee "Tooter" Whitt, age 75, of West Liberty, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 31, 2026, at her daughter's residence in Blaine.

She was born on December 4, 1950, in Paintsville, KY, to the late William Curtis Rigsby and Genoa Kelly Burgoyne. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Louise Young, and one step-brother, Doug Burgoyne.

Survivors include her husband, Timmy Whitt; two sons: William Brian (Tonya) Williams of Caryville, TN, Edward (Lesea) Williams of Martha, KY; one daughter: Tina (J.R.) Bevins of Blaine, KY; one sister: Carol (Odell) Fraley of Flemingsburg, KY; two stepsisters: Becky Young, Rachel Thomas, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 P.M. Friday, April 3, 2026, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Russell Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Lyon Cemetery at Keaton. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 11 A.M. Friday until the time of the funeral services at 1 P.M.
