Evelyn Picklesimer Hayden, age 77, of Patterson Creek, Flat Gap, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 at her home.

Evelyn was born June 7, 1943 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Dennis and Mary Jane Spradlin Picklesimer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Estill Jay Hayden and two sister's, Anna Louise Honeycutt and Pauline Fitch.

She is survived by three sons, Dennison (Tammy) Hayden of Flat Gap, Kentucky, Terry Lynn (Delores) Hayden of Stambaugh, Kentucky and Estill Hayden, Jr. of Flat Gap, Kentucky; four daughters, Nadine May, Estella Ann Hayden and Denice (Ricky) Crace all of Flat Gap, Kentucky and Crystal Dawn (Jesse Burchett) Hayden of Stambaugh, Kentucky; one oldest special  daughter, Diana Hayden Hall of Flat Gap, Kentucky; nine grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Ken Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow in the Hayden Family Cemetery, Short Branch, Meally, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021 and 12:00 Noon until time of service at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2021.
