Flossie Mae Wheeler, age 72, of Blaine, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023.

Flossie was born October 16, 1951 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Bryan Cantrell and Ruie Blanton Cantrell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by five brothers, Claude Cantrell, Joe Lewis Cantrell, Paul B. Cantrell, Rodney Cantrell, and Donald Cantrell; and one sister, Lula Bell Conley.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Jimmie Wheeler whom she married on October 24, 1970. To this union was born one son, Christopher (Stephanie) Wheeler of Louisa, Kentucky.

Also surviving are two grandchildren, Cody Bryan Wheeler and Christin Paige Wheeler; two sisters, Loretta (Harold) Russell of Oil Springs, Kentucky and Cheryl (Lonnie) Collinsworth of Salyersville, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2023 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Pastor Matthew Craft officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens, Louisa, Kentucky. Friends may the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2023.
