Frankie Sue Akers, age 67, of Lowmansville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Frankie was born January 25, 1957 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Frank Akers and Elizabeth Akers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Bud Ballard.

She is survived by one daughter, Angela Whitney Borders (Roger Doss) of River, Kentucky; one grandson, Elijah Brennan Doss; one sister, Deane Bishop of Florida; and one sister in law, Annie Ballard of North Carolina.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 18, 2024 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit Jones-Preston Funeral Home Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
