Frieda Ann Davis Castle, age 85, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024 at Prestonsburg Health Care.

Frieda was born June 27, 1938 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Clarence Davis and "Shug" Davis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Castle; three brothers, Loren Davis, Bobby Davis and Paul Davis; and three sister, Marie Schaeff, Daryl Faye and Glennie Imogene Davis.

She is survived by one son, Gregory Allen (Myra) Castle of Wittensville, Kentucky; two daughters, Tracy Nicole Castle (Matthew) Adkins of West Jefferson, Ohio and Jennifer Ray Castle of Lowmansville, Kentucky; one brother, William Bill Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a special niece, Carolyn McCown of New Carlisle, Ohio.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Lousia, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Monday, January 22, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
