Burial: Caldwell Family Cemetery, Stambaugh, KY

Garry Meade, age 70 of Stambaugh, KY; passed away Friday, July 10, 2020 at Highlands ARH. He was born June 22nd, 1950 in Johnson County, KY, son of the late Estill Meade and step father, Kenneth Sparks and his mother, Betty Jean Cavins Sparks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Jarrett Robert. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Ann Caldwell Meade of Stambaugh, KY; one son, Wendell Meade (Debbie) of Stambaugh, KY; one daughter, Melissa Ann Childers (Richard) of Stambaugh, KY; three brothers, his twin brother, Larry Meade (Tammy), Charles Michael Sparks (Glenda) and Ricky Allen Sparks (Pat) all of Sitka, KY; five grandchildren, Jonathan, Devin, Trenton, Trey and Ashlay, one great grandchild, Kendyl and a very special cousin who was like a sister, Nancy LeMasters.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 15th, 2020 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Jimmy VanHoose and Shane Fyffe officiating. Burial will follow in the Caldwell Family Cemetery at Stambaugh, KY. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Monday, July 13th, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 14th,  2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15th, 2020 until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
