Gary Lewis "Dino" Sexton, age 55, of Flat Gap, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at his home.

Dino was born September 18, 1967 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Billy J. Sexton and Alma Mae Branham Sexton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters, Joyce Ann Baldridge, Doris Sexton and Deloris Sexton Hill and five deceased brothers, Phillip Samuel Sexton, William Vencil Sexton, Ernie Ray Sexton, James Douglas Sexton, Bobby Gene Sexton, and Everett Lee Sexton.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Gail Fannin Sexton; three sons, Gary Austin (Briana) Sexton of Martin, Kentucky, Issac Skyler Blackburn and Lucas Gage Blackburn of Flat Gap, Kentucky; five daughters, Tiffany (Bobby) VanHoose of Flat Gap, Kentucky, Racheal (Nathan Preston) Sexton of Boons Camp, Kentucky, Kelly Sexton of Staffordsville, Kentucky, Heather (Kenny) Vaughn of Hager Hill, Kentucky, and Khloe Addyson Blackburn of Flat Gap, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Kennedy Vaughn, Kent Vaughn, Tyra Holbrook, Hudson Sexton, Natalie Preston, and Maci Preston; six brothers, Larry Keith (Margie) Sexton of Paintsville, Kentucky, Arnold Michael (Lisa) Sexton of River, Kentucky, Johnny Bill (Shirley) Sexton of Paintsville, Kentucky, Albert Estill (Tina) Sexton of Paintsville, Kentucky, Steve Ellis (Elizabeth) Sexton of Thealka, Kentucky, and Troy Stanley (Marlina) Sexton of Thealka, Kentucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services we conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Larry Blair officiating. Burial will follow in the Sexton Family Cemetery, Paintsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2022, 12:00 Noon until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2022 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2022.
