Gary Standifer, age 64, of Hager Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 at his home.

Gary was born July 1, 1956 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Moses and Lucy Watson Standifer.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Gary Standifer Jr and one sister Debbie Gussler.

He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Cleveland and husband Chealse of Stambaugh, KY, Brandy Standifer of Berea, KY,  two brothers, Moses Standifer Jr. of Paintsville, KY, and Robbie Standifer of Flat Gap, KY; three sisters, Phyllis Goble of Hager Hill, KY, and Kathy Wallen of New Straitsville, OH and Carol Cameron, Loveland Colorado; four grandchildren, Ciara Engle, Makayla Cantrell, Taylor Collins, and Andrea Collins; two great-grandchildren, Lexi & Kennley Engle.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Larry Blair officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 Noon.
