Gerald Ray Wells, age 72, Greenup County, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at King Daughter Medical Center.

Gerald was born September 30, 1949 in Greenup, Kentucky, son of the late Bennie Wells and Juanita Goble Wells.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Conn Wells and one brother Jerry Wells and one sister Pat Wells Womack.

He is survived by two daughter, Dawn Michele Wells and Lisa Ann Wells; one sister, Sandra Lee Wells, of Southshore, KY; several cousins, locally Ronnie Wells and Larry Collins both of Van Lear, KY.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bricks Union Cemetery, Greenup, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2021.
