Gerrie Alene Murray Meek, age 76, of Whitehouse, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, February 26 ^th , 2022 at her son's home in Graham, North Carolina.

Gerrie was born June 19, 1945 in Wheelwright, Kentucky, daughter of the late Gaylord and Vernona Reynolds Murray. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Morris Douglas Meek.

She is survived by three sons, Philip Meek of Nippa, Kentucky, Jerry Meek of Whitehouse and Shawn Meek of Graham, North Carolina; one daughter, Terri Edwards of Lexington, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 2 ^nd , 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Jimmy Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Family Cemetery, Whitehouse, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1 ^st , 2022 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 2 ^nd , 2022.
