Burial: Auxier Family Cemetery, Little Lick Fork, East Point, Kentucky

Gertrud Anna Stein Auxier, age 84, of Little Lick Fork, East Point, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at her home.

Gertrud was born April 3, 1939 in Bavaria Germany, daughter of the late Josef Adam Stein and Rosa Link Stein. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Josef Stein and one sister, Paula Klineschmidt.

She is survived by her husband, James Ralph Auxier, five sons, Timothy Joseph Foster of Springfield, Ohio, Charles Eugene (Misty) Foster of Springfield, Ohio, James Edgar (Kristi) Auxier of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jody Waylon Auxier of East Point, Kentucky, and Lonnie Clayton (Melissa) Auxier of East Point, Kentucky; one daughter, Pamela Anna (Shawn) Ambrose of Sarasota, Florida; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two brothers, Donald Stein and Ingo Stein both of Bavaria Germany; and one sister, Rosemarie Reis of Bavaria Germany.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Auxier Family Cemetery, East Point, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2023 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
