Gina Renea Thompson, age 57, of West Van Lear, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Highlands ARH, Prestonsburg, Kentucky.

Gina Renea Thompson, was born March 22, 1964 in London, Ohio, daughter of the Sebert B. Thompson and late Janet L. Denecea Tackett. In addition to her mother, one son, Marc Aaron Meade and one grandchild, Josie Meade.

In addition to her father, she is survived one daughter, Amanda Renea Meade of West Van Lear, Kentucky; one grandchild, Gabriel Aden Stepp; four brothers, Tommy (Charlene) Thompson of West Jefferson, Ohio, Robie James (Jackie) Tackett of Whitehouse Kentucky, David Michael Tackett and John Mark (Megan) Tackett all of West Van Lear, Kentucky; three sisters, Diana K. Owens (Buford) of Van Lear, Kentucky, Shelia D. Sites and Tanya (Nathan) Moore all of Whitehouse, Kentucky; and host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with John Skaggs officiating. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2021 and 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2021.
