Goldie Maxine Brown, age 84, of D. Conley Branch, Volga, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 6th, 2021 at Paul B. Hall Medical Center.

Goldie was born August 7th, 1937 in Johnson County, KY to the late Fred and Mae Salyers Osborne.

She is survived by her husband, Jonathan D. Brown of Volga, Kentucky; two sisters, Beatrice Osborne of Paintsville, KY, and Ernestine (James O.) Vanhoose of Flat Gap, KY. She is also survived by a special friend, Lucy Potter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 9th, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Denvil Mollett officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 9th, 2021 at Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
