Gregory Wayne Fraley, of Owingsville , KY (formerly Jenkins, KY) also widely known by his broadcasting moniker Greg Marshall, age 58, passed on to his home in Heaven on April 1, 2025. Greg was born on December 2, 1966 in East Chicago, Indiana.
At an early age, Greg knew his calling in life - broadcasting, specifically talk radio. As a child, he often made a toy microphone out of aluminum foil and interviewed anyone who would give him the time. His first love was radio, and his love for radio never wavered. Greg was widely known and respected in the broadcasting industry. He taught both radio and television broadcasting during his years in St. Louis, MO, as well as had ownership and management of various radio stations throughout the years.
All who have had the opportunity to meet or get to know Greg are certainly better for it. He had an infectious laugh and a crazy sense of humor. If anyone were to bring light into a dim room, it was Greg - a big bear hug, a crazy joke, a prank, or a heartfelt prayer. Greg always seemed to have what anyone needed. Greg didn't need or ask for much; he lived a humble life. He had salvation in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and he lived to share the good news with anyone he encountered. We take solace in knowing that Greg is home with our Lord.
Greg leaves behind one son, Adam Fraley of Petersburg, WV; parents, Odell and Edna Carol Fraley of Owingsville, KY; two sisters - Glenna (Bob) Crouch of Lowell, IN, and Carla (Timothy) Pigman of Morehead, KY; three grandchildren; 5 nieces and nephews; one great-niece; and countless relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Allen Fraley, and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday, April 4 at 2:00 p.m. in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Joey Damron officiating. Friend may visit from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2025. Family may arrive at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the John H. Ferguson Cemetery, 172, West Liberty, KY.
