Guy B. Meade, age 75, of River, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at his home.

Guy was born October 12, 1946 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Guy B. Meade, Jr. and Dorothy Stambaugh Meade.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Kinder Meade; two sons, Joseph Guy Meade and Cody Nicholas Meade; one daughter, Joy Chrysanne Moser; one brother, Roger C. Meade; and a host of friends.

Guy graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in Horticulture and owned and operated Meade Landscape Inc. for over 50 years in Johnson and surrounding counties. He joined the Army National Guard receiving training at Fort Bliss, Texas where he was honored with Official Recognition for Outstanding Performance of Duty.

Celebration of Life to honor Guy's life will be held tentatively April 2022.

Burial was at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky
