Mrs. Hannah L. Gerrich, 86, of Rochester passed away at 10:15 PM on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Woodlawn Hospital of Rochester.

On December 5, 1935, Hannah Lee Williams was born in Jenny's Creek, KY to Mervin L. and Gladys Blair Williams. She graduated with the class of 1953 as valedictorian from Flat Gap High School in Kentucky.

Hannah and Merrill "Butch" Gerrich were married on December 1, 1963 in the First Baptist Church, of Rochester. They shared 56 years of life's adventures. Sadly, he passed away on July 11, 2021. Together they raised three wonderful children.  The family tree has grown with the added blessings of two more generations.

Hannah worked in building maintenance at General Tire of Wabash. Family visits were treasured times. Her favorite travel destinations were returning home to her family to Kentucky, South Carolina and Arizona. To relax, she enjoyed a good book or watching game shows on TV.

Left to cherish Hannah's memory are two daughters: Lee Ann Wall of Ridgeway, South Carolina and Denise Gerrich of Rochester, Indiana; son Chuck Williams (Judy) of Nicholasville, Kentucky; seven grandchildren: Heather Watson (Steven), Jonathan Williams, Christopher Williams, twins Erin Phillips & Amanda Whaley (Pat), Andrew "Drew" Shafer (Andrea), Megan Kicklighter; six great-grandchildren: Adam Cole Whaley, twins Peyton and Addison Whaley, Keaton Phillips, Nina Watson, Jimmy Watson; favored nephew, Shawn Gerrich.

Preceding Hannah in death are her parents, husband; two sisters Barbara Allen Bently and infant Myra Carolyn Williams, three brothers, Dicky Williams and two infant brothers Millard Leslie and Jerry Wayne Williams and son-in-law Bill Wall.

A graveside service celebrating the life of Mrs. Hannah L. Gerrich will be at 2:00 PM at the Sheridan Estepp Cemetery, Flat Gap, Kentucky.
