Burial :   Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, KY

Herma Lee Ward 94 of Findlay Ohio passed away August 6th in Stuart FL.
She was born in Barnetts Creek, Kentucky, to the late Johnnie and Mattie (Lemasters) Davis on November 12, 1927. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Helen Picklesimer, Minerva Pelphrey, and Ella Frances Giordano.
Herma married Alcus Ward on November 30, 1946.
She is survived by Garnetta Sue (Robert Rubin) Ward, of Stuart, Florida and Don (Penny) Ward of Ormond Beach Florida; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; brother in law, Douglas (Fern) Ward Denver, Kentucky; sister in laws, Shelby Jean Blair Dola Ohio. Neva Lee Conely of Barnetts Creek, Kentucky.
An active member of the Stoney Ridge United Baptist Church, Herma was a very caring and loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and cooking her famous fried chicken for friends and family.
Memorials contributions can be made in memory of Herma Ward to the Stoney Ridge United Baptist Church 901 Ohio 568 Carey Ohio 43316.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, KY.  Friends may call at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Friday, August 12, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
