Hershel Tackett age 49 of Thealka, Kentucky passed away, Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at his home.

Hershel was born January 13, 1974 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late William Reece Tackett and Anna Kay Webb.

He is survived by two sons, Jacob Ward and Hershal Chase Webb both of Paintsville, Kentucky; three brothers, Reece Webb of Paintsville, Kentucky, John (Robin) Osborne of Paintsville, Kentucky and James (Stacy) Robinette of Salyersville, Kentucky; five sisters, Tammy (Gary) Burchett of Flat Gap, Kentucky, Darlene Mollette of Denver, Kentucky, Ethel Estep of Ohio, Anna Hunt of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Kathy Webb of Michigan.

There will be no public services at this time.

The family respectfully ask donations be made to Jones-Preston Funeral Home to assist with cremation expenses.
