Burial: Blair Family Cemetery, Lower Twin Branch, Denver, Kentucky

Hobert "Hobie" Blair, age 59, of Lower Twin Branch, Denver, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at his residence.

Hobie was born June 4, 1962 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the Anna Mae Spradlin Blair Brooks of Paintsville, Kentucky and the late Elbert Blair. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by one brother, Arnold Lee "Bud" Blair, two sisters, Alice Ratliff and Ruth Blair Eden, and three nephews, Paul "Little Paul" Blair, Nickie Blair, and Kenny Blair.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Kathy Adams Blair; two sons, Casey and Corey Blair both of Denver, Kentucky; one daughter, Courtney Blair of Huntington, West Virginia; two brothers, Paul Blair and Linda and Elbert "Jr." Blair and wife Leonia Blair all of Denver, Kentucky; two sisters, Deborah "Sissy" Ratliff of Staffordsville, Kentucky and Dottie Ratliff of Denver, Kentucky; three grandsons, Silas, Zachary and Jensen Martin; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Ben Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in the Blair Family Cemetery, Denver, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2022, 12:00 Noon until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022 and 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
