Ilene Hampton, age 89, widow of "Tebe" Hampton, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

Ilene is preceded in death by her husband, Gaius "Tebe" Hampton, parents, Rev. C.H. Wallin and Bessie Fyffe Wallin, daughter, Martha L. Womack, five brothers, Edgar, Glen, Fred, Conrad and Howard, and three sisters, Maxie, America and Marie.

She is survived by one sister, Avanell Skaggs of Keaton, Kentucky; son-in-law, Barry (Amy) Womack of Huntington, West Virginia; granddaughter, Lauren Womack (Ryan) Greene of Huntington, West Virginia; grandson, Seth Womack of Huntington, West Virginia; great grandson, Reese Greene and expecting great granddaughter, Amelia Kate Greene.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Little Mud Lick Church of God with Tobe Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021 and at Little Mud Lick Church of God from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
