Irvin Dennis Patrick, age 78, of Thealka, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Pikeville Medical Center.

Irvin was born December 24, 1946 in Davy, West Virginia, son of the late Beecher Patrick and Magdeline Adams Patrick. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Patrick and one sister, Billie Sue Sisco.

He is survived by his wife, Claudia Lee Slone Patrick; two sons, Andy Patrick of Morehead, Kentucky and JD (Alyson) Plummer of Florida; one daughter, Laken (Jeremy) Lemaster of Tutor Key, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Andrew Tye Patrick and Bella Louise Plummer; and one great grandson, Andrew Lincoln Patrick.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with James Kelly Caudill officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2025 and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
