Ivanell Willis Wells, age 96, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Johnson County, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at her home.

Ivanell was born January 23, 1929 in Floyd County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Warner Willis and Nancy Spradlin Willis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Raymond Wells, daughter, Deloris Wells Moore, brothers, Junior Willis, John Willis, Bill Willis, and David Joe Willis, and sister, Peggy Morris.

She is survived by her children Palma W. Burchett (Dwight), Nancy Pack (Jim Bob), Lillian Storm, Ronald R. Wells (Peggy), Warner L. Wells (Lisa) and John S. Wells (Mickey); thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Highland Memorial Park with Ed Moore officiating.
