Jack Dean "JD" England, age 58, of East Point, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington.

He was born on May 5, 1968, in Chicago, IL, to the late Jack England and Sandra Ann Torres. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father at heart, Jimmy Franklin.

On March 10, 1990, in Auxier, he married Lisa Blevins England, who survives. Additional survivors include his mother at heart, Darlene Muncy Franklin; one son, Jackson England of East Point; two brothers: James Franklin (Syble) Franklin of Waxhaw, NC, and Danny (Malina) England of Princeton, VA; three sisters: Amber Franklin (Chuck) Fuller of Beckley, WV, Amanda England Valdovinos of Chicago, IL, and Annaelisa England of Florida.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 P.M. Saturday, June 6, 2026, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Tex Sawyer officiating—burial to follow at the Spencer-Blevins Cemetery at East Point. Friends may visit at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Friday, June 5, 2026, and on Saturday from 11 A.M. until the time of the funeral services at 1 P.M.
