Jack Raymond Preston, age 94, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at the Prestonsburg Health Care Center.

Jack was born September 4 , 1927 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Glance and Fannie Hughes Preston. In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby "Tennie" Earnestine Wireman Preston on April 9, 2020.

He is survived by one son, Ronald Keith Preston of Paintsville, Kentucky; one sister, Opal Lee Daniels of Grove City, Ohio; two grandchildren, Jennifer Preston and Shelly Preston; and one great-grandchild, Gunnar Preston.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Toby Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022 and 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

Paintsville Masonic Loge 381 F. & A.M. will conduct Masonic Rites on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
