Jake "Copperhead" Colvin, age 60, of Asa Creek Road, Hager Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021 at Community Hospice Center, Ashland, Kentucky.

Jake was born December 19, 1961 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Theodore "Tom" Colvin and Kathleen Trimble Colvin.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Bailey Colvin; two sons, James Robert Conley and wife Ashley of Hager Hill, Kentucky and Jake Ryan Colvin and wife Brianna of Madison, Wisconsin; two daughters, Gina LaRae Mann and husband Adam of Salyersville, Kentucky and Morgan Paige Colvin Shaw (Jason Kestner) of Salyersville, Kentucky; two brothers, Joe K. Colvin and wife Judi and Jerry M. Colvin and wife Sharon all of Hager Hill, Kentucky; one sister, Glenda Colvin Blair and husband Alvin of Staffordsville, Kentucky; and five grandchildren, Gabe Mann, Lance Mann, Lily Grace Shaw, Jayce Conley, and Jaxon Gray Kestner.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Jeffery Neil Bailey, Joe Scott and Neil Carty officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2021; 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 and l0:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021.

Church service will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
