James Paul Bush, age 58, of Thealka, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Paintsville ARH.

James was born June 10, 1965 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Jesse James Bush and Georgia Webb Bush. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Bush and two sisters, Lisa Shepherd and Wilma Richmond.

He is survived by one son, Stephen Bush of Fairborn, Ohio; two brothers, Tommy Bush of Sitka, Kentucky and Johnny Bush of Auxier, Kentucky; three sisters, Cleva Mae Caudill of Thealka, Kentucky, Regina Salyer of Salyersville, Kentucky and Debra Ratliff of Hager Hill, Kentucky; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Per his request, there will be no public services.
