James Sweeney, age 58, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 in Salyersville, Kentucky.

James born September 9, 1963 in Floyd County, Kentucky.

He is survived by his daughter, Angel Rose of Bowling Green, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Dallas Rose and Realen Rose.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022.
