Janie Lynn Daniels, age 54, of Paintsville, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Mountain Manor of Paintsville.

She was born on June 24, 1972, in Paintsville to the late Kermit and Minerva Meade Cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Daniels, on August 10, 2017.

Survivors include one brother, John (Lahoma) Cook of Boons Camp.

Graveside Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 A.M. on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Staffordsville, with Roger Hill officiating. Interment to follow. Friends may visit at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M.
