Jeanette Whittaker Sisco, age 94, of Meally, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Mountain Manor of Paintsville.

Jeanette was born October 25, 1928 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Frank Whittaker and Mary Jane Rowland Whittaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Elmon Sisco; son, Darrell Gene Sisco; daughter, Hattielene Sisco Hannah; sister, Janice Alexander; and son-in-law, Darvin Mollette.

She is survived by one daughter, Corene Mollotte of Meally, Kentucky; one son, James Harold (Carolyn) Sisco of Meally, Kentucky; one sister, Colleen Riffe of Melbourne, Florida; daughter-in-law, Kathy Sisco, Meally, Kentucky; son-in-law, Wilkie Hannah of Thelma, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Gary Mollette, Barry Mollette, Christopher (Evelyn) Hannah, Donna (Kevin) Wampler, Neil Sisco, Jasmine (Jeremy) Banks; seven great grandchildren, Madison (Kevin) White, Gaige Hannah, Willow Peyton Hannah, Cody Baker, Jade Baker, Jaxton Banks, and Jenson Banks; and one great-great grandchild, Kian Baker.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2023 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Ronnie Spriggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Carolyn Spriggs Memorial Cemetery, Bee Branch, Boons Camp, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday, August 28, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
