Jeffery Scott Maynard, age 61 of Martin County, KY; passed away Friday, July 10th, 2020 at Three River's Medical Center in Louisa, KY. He was born July 21st, 1958 in Pike County, KY. He is the son of the late Winfred Maynard and Claire Blackburn Maynard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Brian Scott Maynard and one sister, Sonja Varney.

He is survived by two sons, Jeffery Allen Maynard (Tina) of Keaton, KY; Michael Maynard of Wayland, KY; two brothers, Eddie Maynard (Jennifer) of Louisville, KY; Barry Maynard of Florida; also surviving are five grandchildren, Faith Maynard, Ezrah Maynard, Lucas Maynard, Selena Maynard and  Tara Maynard. Jeff was  retired from the Carl D. Perkins Rehabilitation Center in Thelma, KY.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Wednesday, July 15th, 2020 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Eddie Maynard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Blackburn Family Cemetery, Meathouse, Kentucky in Pike County. Friends may visit Jones-Preston Funeral Home Tuesday, July 14th, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 noon Wednesday, July 15th, 2020 at Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
