Jerri Lee Ross, age 71, of Paintsville, passed away Monday afternoon, June 29, 2026, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington.

She was born on June 3, 1955, in Paintsville to Charlene McKenzie Meade and the late Robert Meade.

On December 11, 1988, in Paintsville, Jerri married Jackie Allen Ross, who survives. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by two sons: Patrick Allen Ross of Lexington, Adam Reed Ross (Casey Rackey) of Hi Hat; one brother: James Robert (Pam) Meade of West Liberty; and one grandson, Noah Dean Ross.

Jerri's greatest joy in life was her family. Whenever she wasn't spending time with them, you could find her working on different crafts, including embroidery and knitting. Her grandson, Noah, was the apple of her eye.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the Paintsville First United Methodist Church, with Nathan Dials officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Staffordsville. Friends may visit at the church from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral services at 11:00 A.M.
