Jerri Marlene Ward VanHoose, age 60, of Richmond, Kentucky, formerly of Johnson County, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at her sons' home.

Marlene was born October 24, 1959 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of Darlene Webb Ward of Meally, Kentucky and the late Jerry Ward. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Kaye Whiting.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Ronnie Allen VanHoose; two sons, Tyler VanHoose and wife Ashleigh of Georgetown, Kentucky and Jerrad Mitchell VanHoose of Lexington, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Hadley Harper VanHoose; and one sister, Teresa Boyd of Clayton, North Carolina.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Wayne Short officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery, Meally, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Friday, September 11, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020.
