Jerry Lee Daniels, age 62, of Matewan, West Virginia, passed away at on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Pikeville Medical Center.

He was born on February 11, 1964, in Logan, West Virginia, the son of Woodrow Daniels and the late Zola Browning Daniels. He worked as a car salesman in the auto sales industry.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Matilda "Denise" Skeens Daniels; his father, Woodrow Daniels; one son, Jerry Alexander (Taylor) Daniels of Greenville, Ohio; three daughters, Jessie (Tim) Wallen of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Rochelle (Evan) Ousley of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, and Kayla (William) Wathen of Greenville, Ohio.

He is also survived by two brothers, Rick (Donna) Daniels of Ocala, Florida, and Kevin (Teresa) Daniels of Atlanta, Georgia; two stepdaughters, Amber Matthews of Ransom, Kentucky, and Linette Thorpe of Williamson, West Virginia; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 P.M. Sunday, July 19, 2026, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Adam Gross and Brent Tackett officiating. Interment to follow at the Daniels Family Cemetery in Boons Camp. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Sunday from 9 A.M. until the time of the funeral services at 1 P.M.
