Jerry Gale Keeton, Sr., 71, of Hager Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday evening at Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson, Kentucky.

He was born April 5, 1955, in East Chicago, Indiana, to the late Loman Keeton and Cloie Etta Keeton.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dottie Ann Keeton; one daughter, Cinthia White; five brothers, Dale Keeton, Donnie Keeton, Timothy Keeton, Keith Allen Keeton, and Danny Ray Keeton; and three sisters-in-law, Diana Carol Keeton, Carol Marshall, and Berniece Keeton.

Jerry was united in marriage to Dottie Ann Keeton on November 27, 1975, and together they shared many years of love and devotion.

Those left to cherish his memory include three sons, Jerry (Susann) Keeton, Jonathan (Cassandra) Keeton of Paintsville, and Joshua (Erin) Keeton of Paintsville; one daughter, Sarah (Aaron) Collett of Garrett; one brother, Bennie Keeton of Martha; one sister, Jacqueline Hammonds of Martha; a host of grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Jerry will be remembered for the love he had for his family and the many lives he touched throughout his years. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation: 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel

Burial: Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky
