Jerry Lee Meade, age 69, of Thealka, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky.

Jerry was born December 12, 1951 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Mitchell and Mary Lou Adkins Meade.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Collins Meade whom he married on August 7, 1971. To this union was born one daughter, Yvonna Lex of Houston, Texas.

Also surviving are two grandchildren, Joseph Lex and Ethan Lex; and two brothers, Clarence Meade of Thealka, Kentucky and Michael Meade of Lexington, Kentucky.

Celebration of Life and Time of Reflection will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Jones-Preston Funeral Home.

Jerry was a member of Lowmansville Masonic Lodge 858.
