• Burial: Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, Kentucky

Jimmie was born September 16, 1945 in Pike County, Kentucky, son of the late Jim and Sally Lamb Musick.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Charles Musick and one sister, Hazel Hurt.

Jimmie is survived by his loving wife, Reta Gay Henderson Musick of River, Kentucky; one son, Jamie Musick of Boons Camp, Kentucky; one daughter, Crystal Allen of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; three sisters, Shirley Bishop and Betty Musick both of Feds Creek, Kentucky and Mary Bishop of Harmon, Virginia; three grandchildren, Tyler Musick, Tanner Allen and Candace Allen; and one great grandchild, Jackson Grey.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023 in the Van Lear Freewill Baptist Church with Paul Wayne Browning officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Van Lear Freewill Baptist Church Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and 12:00 Noon until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023.
