Jimmy Colvin (Chico), age 69, of Frankfort, KY, formerly of Oil Springs, KY, passed away Sunday evening, October 5, 2025, at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Born November 2nd,1955, to the late Jeff and Lennie Colvin of Oil Springs, he is survived by his Wife of 49 years, Jeana Colvin (Fraley) of Frankfort, Ky. 2 children, Shane Colvin (Erica) of Georgetown, Ky and Cassie Music (Shane) of Frankfort, Ky. 4 grandchildren Kellen and James Music and Kaylyn and Noah Colvin. He is also survived by his good pal "Buddy."

He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 siblings, Bill, Ken, and Lowell Colvin, Opal McQueen, and Gail Lewis.

An Army Veteran, he was a retired truck driver (Ramco Trucking) and an employee of Save-a-Lot food stores of Lawrenceburg, Ky. He enjoyed being outdoors, mowing grass, working in his garage and garden, watching NASCAR, and UK sports. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 P.M., Friday, October 10, 2025, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Staffordsville, KY. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 12 Noon until the time of services at 2 P.M. Friday October 10, 2025.
