Joe Kennith Colvin, age 77, of Asa Creek, Leander, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at his home.

Joe was born October 3, 1947 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Theodore "Tom" Colvin and Kathleen Trimble Colvin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Jake Colvin.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Blanton Colvin; one daughter, Marsha Jo Colvin of Asa Creek, Leander, Kentucky; one brother, Jerry (Sharon) Colvin of Denver, Kentucky; one sister, Glenda (Alvin) Blair of Barnetts Creek, Kentucky; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2024 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2024 and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2024.

Full military honors will be conducted by Auxier Chapter 18 DAV.
